Welcome to the London Irish Network (LIN) website.
The Largest London Irish Social Club.
A non-profit making club with events run by members for members.

About LIN

Founded in 1989, LIN was set up to provide Londoners with an Irish background, or those with an interest in Irish culture an opportunity to meet up, socialise and enjoy a range of varied activities. It is run exclusively by members, for members, on a voluntary non-profit making basis and LIN are very keen to encourage input from all members. LIN are also very keen to encourage new members to take an active role on the club committee.

Our membership is composed of a wide range of people from various professions and backgrounds and across all age groups. Membership is not restricted to those of Irish birth or descent, and we have a large proportion of non-Irish members who nevertheless share a common interest in Irish culture. We pride ourselves on the diversity of our membership and actively encourage people from various backgrounds to join the club.

The next New Members Event will take place on Saturday, 12th July 2008. at the penderels oak, Holborn, WC1V 7HP [map]

This is an evening for prospective new members to find out more about the club and to meet existing members. We meet at 8 pm at the ticket office at Holborn tube station or if you wish to join us later in the evening.

The club offers over 20 events per month - these provide members with opportunities for networking while enjoying a varied range of social, cultural and leisure activities, including

If you have a particular interest you will be encouraged to include it in the monthly programme as there may be other members who share your interest. There are three major events held each year which are attended by the majority of the membership. The St Patrick's Day party, a summer barbeque and the Christmas bash are the focal points of the annual programme. In addition, LIN has an active online community where members actively discuss common topics and plan future activities. Interested in joining us? Then click here.
